Australia is in the southern hemisphere of the Earth, and there are four climates within the continent: tropical, desert, subtropical, and temperate, so each city has a completely different climate. It retains very rare natural phenomena or unique animals, and is a popular tourist destination for diving and golf lovers around the world.
Now, I will introduce my trip to Australia.

1. Great Barrier Reef

 

The Great Barrier Reef, which stretches northwest along the coast of Australia, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has beautiful coral reefs. 
It covers about 10 percent of all coral reefs on Earth. It is said that coral reefs began to be made here about 18 million years ago. It is a popular tourist attraction for divers who can enjoy colorful coral and dream world with fish.

2. Lake Hillier

Lake Hillier is a salt lake on the middle island of southern Australia, with a rare pink color as shown in the picture. The reason it's pink is algae and bacteria in the water, but it hasn't been explained yet. See the beauty with your own eyes.^^

3. Blue Mountains

Blue Mountains National Park, famous for its world-famous mountain range, is a recommended tourist destination where you can enjoy majestic nature beyond the reach of civilization. 
You can enjoy a day trip in Sydney, so even beginners can enjoy it. There are amusement facilities and hotels, so you can enjoy the relaxing nature according to your schedule.

4. Ayers Rock

 

It is no exaggeration to say that Ayers Rock is Australia's symbol and the most popular tourist attraction. It is loved by natives under the name of Uluru, and since October 2019, climbing for tourists has been banned. 
However, the scenery that is registered as a World Heritage Site changes beautifully from dawn to evening, captivating the viewer.

5. Opera House

The charm of Australia lies not only in nature but also in its cultural life. Among them, this opera house is registered as a World Heritage Site as a symbol of Sydney. 
The appearance of several white shells is impressive and has been completed over 14 years. Currently, it is used as a concert hall or theater, so it is recommended to visit in time for opera or musical performances.

6. Kangaroo Island

Kangaroo Island off the coast of South Australia is home to many native Australian animals, led by kangaroos. It is a hidden attraction, also called the Australian Galapagos. In January 2020, a large-scale forest fire occurred, so it is recommended to check the local situation information before you go.

7. King's Canyon

The King's Canyon is part of the Red Center with red-brown grounds along with Ayrs Rock and others. It is a sacred land for the natives, but also attracts many tourists with its unique appearance and natural beauty. 
The 200m high carved wall was formed by weathering and erosion over millions of years. Thanks to the walls of the valley, plants and animals have been protected from drought and tourists can choose trekking routes that suit their 

8. Tasmania Island

Tasmania Island is attractive with its rich tropical forests and unique terrain formed during the ice age. More than 35% of the island is designated as a national park and nature reserve, and it is also recognized as a World Heritage Site. Unspoiled nature remains so abundant that it is nicknamed the world's purest place.

9. Fraser Island

Fraser Island, the world's largest sand island, is a world heritage site where rainforests and sand coexist within an island about 120km long. You can enjoy driving and bathing along the beach, and you can also see wild animals in about 100 freshwater lakes.

10. Wave Lock

It's a unique form that's hard to believe that a wave suddenly came in and created this rock form, but it was actually created by centuries of erosion by wind, sand, rain, heat, etc. It's a little far away, but it's worth seeing a powerful gemstone that seems to have paused the waves.

11. Two Lives and Apostols (The 12 Great Ocean Road)

The cover of many tourist pamphlets is Tuelv Apostols. It means the Twelve Apostles of the Bible, and the coastline of the towering huge limestone is attractive. 12. St. Paul's Cathedral

If you learn about Australian history and culture, you can't help but go to St. Paul's Cathedral, one of Melbourne's three major Gothic architectures. The cathedral, which is impressive with three pointed heads, is also located in London, England.Since it was built in the mid-1800s, it has been loved as a place for citizens to pray. If you go inside St. Paul's Cathedral, you can learn more about history, as well as take a close look at the pipe organ, the penthouse, and Persian tiles.

13. Cape Byron

Cape Byron, standing at the eastern end of the Australian continent.Since its construction in 1901, it has kept the Pacific at night safe. You can see a fantastic view of the calm sea from the white lighthouse. During the day, you can see surfers riding the waves in the transparent sea, turtles and dolphins swimming gracefully.

Australia has many World Heritage Sites, and no matter where you choose, magnificent nature welcomes you. Find a place you like and enjoy the charm of Australia.
