One of the common things tourists visiting Korea for travel purposes from various regions abroad say is the convenient transportation system. However, when you travel abroad, there are many people who suffer from inconvenience due to unfamiliar transportation systems, so it is much more convenient to know how to use public transportation in each country in advance.
Today, I would like to introduce the transportation pass of Europe, France and Paris among many countries. Traffic pass that makes public transportation more convenient at a lower price in Paris! Shall we find out together?
1. Navigo
There are two types of Navigo Transportation Pass: a week book that can be used from Monday to Sunday and a month book that can be used for a month.
If you have a Navigo transportation pass, you can conveniently use various public transportations without limit regardless of 1-5 zones.
Through the service center in each subway station, you can easily create a transportation pass with a deposit and your ID picture (if you don't have it, you can issue it using an instant camera).
Wait a minute here! You'll have to buy a ticket again after Sunday, so it's only recommended for those who stay for more than four days and travel to Paris from at least Tuesday. Also, please note that the deposit you pay when you get it is not refundable.
2. Mobilis
It is a ticket that offers unlimited access to all public transportation 24 hours a day, and is recommended for those who stay in Paris for a short time.
You can buy it at the subway station, and you can choose from zones 1-2 to 1-5 according to your travel area. However, the wider the zone, the greater the price difference, so it would be reasonable to plan the route for the day and choose accordingly, right?
There are some things you must follow when using the Mobilis Pass. First of all, you have to write down the date you used and your name on the pass, and you have to keep the time you use it from 0:00 to 24:00 on the day you used it, not for 24 hours after purchasing it. Also, airport buses are not available, so please keep that in mind!
3. Carnet
It is a transportation pass that is commonly used by tourists traveling to Paris, and is sold in 10 tickets.
In other words, one ticket is used for each public transportation, and transfer is possible within 90 minutes with the same type of public transportation, but transfer is not possible from bus to subway.
In other words, when using public transportation with different types, you have to use one pass ticket again. It can only be used in zones 1 and 2, and if you need to move to a different zone, you need to be careful because you need to buy it with a different pass.
And when you get on and off, you sometimes check your pass ticket unexpectedly, so you must keep it with you without crumpling or throwing it away until you get off completely.
Since it's a paper pass, magnetic damage is easy, so it's better to keep it in your wallet, right?
4. Jeunes
Jenne is a one-day ticket for travelers under the age of 26 with unlimited public transportation in Paris on weekends or holidays.
Because it is available at a lower price than other tickets, public transportation is available at an affordable price for travelers aged 26 who travel on weekends and holidays.
However, you should pay attention to how to use the pass ticket because you can use it only for one day with a one-day ticket, not during the weekend from Saturday to Sunday. Also, you can choose the zone you travel to and buy it, and there may be a surprise inspection, so it's better to have your ID and passport. Also, it would be better to keep the pass in your wallet so that it doesn't get ruined or lost, right?
5. Visite
You can use public transportation unlimitedly by choosing between 1-3 zones or 1-5 zones for 1, 2, 3, and 5 days.
Although it is more expensive than the pass tickets mentioned above, tourists who use the site will be given a discount on tickets to tourist attractions, so they can visit tourist attractions at a low price.
Like other tickets, the period is set from the actual date of use, not the date of purchase, so make sure to write your name and date on the ticket on the day of use. You can enter the country with a pass ticket issued in advance in Korea, but you can also purchase it directly from Paris even if you are not ready.
