1. Jeju Udo Island

 

Udo Island is a small island 15 minutes away by ferry from the main island of Jeju Island and is a popular tourist destination with its beautiful emerald-green beaches.

It is often used as a filming location for dramas and movies, and many people will think of Udo when they think of Jeju Island.

It is good to enjoy marine activities such as bathing or diving, and to take a walk on the island by rental cycle or motorcycle. There are also tourist shuttle buses, so you can enjoy everything on the island.

 

2. The best scenic spot in Jeju Island! Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak

 

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is one of the symbols of Jeju Island, which was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as a huge rock created by the eruption of an undersea volcano 100,000 years ago.

It takes 30 minutes one way from the entrance of the hiking trail to the top, and you can see the beautiful coastline and street scenery of Jeju Island from the top of the mountain.

One of the characteristics is that the inside of the summit is made up of a vast meadow of 30,000 pyeong, and you can enjoy horseback riding on the meadow! If I visit, I'd like to experience it.

If you want to enjoy the taste of Jeju Island, Dongmun Market ♪

It has the longest history in Jeju Island and has been loved by people for a long time as a kitchen in Jeju Island, so its cost-effectiveness is the best! There are many good restaurants and local products.

Among them, desserts or fresh juices using tangerines and Hallabong, which are Jeju Island's specialties, are one of the must-see items for women♡
There are more than 300 shops lined up, including clothes and miscellaneous goods, so it is a tourist attraction that I want to visit once during my stay.

4.The Longest Cave in the World! Manjang Cave!

 

There is Manjanggul Cave, the longest lava cave in the world, which is 7.4 kilometers long.

The growth is said to date back to 100,000 to 300,000 years from now, and it is a tourist destination where you can feel the mystery of nature that is dizzyingly majestic.

The temperature inside is maintained in the range of 11-18 degrees throughout the year, so you feel cool and chilly even in summer.
Blue and purple lights are also the highlights to accelerate the fantastic atmosphere.

5. Trekking World Heritage 'Hallasan'

The next place to introduce is Hallasan Mountain, a representative scenic spot in Jeju Island. Hallasan Mountain means a mountain high enough for us to catch the Milky Way, and as its name suggests, it is also the highest peak in Korea at 1,950m above sea level.

There is also a crater lake called Baeknokdam at the top, which is one of the indispensable attractions of Hallasan Mountain.

There are a total of six trekking courses heading to the top, and the difficulty varies, so you can choose according to your physical strength and purpose.

6.A place where adults can play ♪ "Kimnyeong Maze Park"

 

Gimnyeong Maze Park is a unique tourist attraction where you can feel as if you are in the land of fairy tales. There is a huge maze of over 1,000 trees in the park, which is quite well made!

Even if it goes smoothly after knowing the answer, it takes about 10 minutes. It is almost impossible not to wander without a map, so it is not uncommon to take more than an hour to reach the finish line.
Children and adults can enjoy it like crazy♪

7. 'Camelia Hill' is the largest camellia field in the East

 

Camellia Hill is also the first place in Jeju Island that boasts the best Instagram photos. It is very popular with tourists because you can take beautiful pictures surrounded by colorful flowers all year round!

More than 6,000 camellia trees of 500 species from 80 countries are planted in the 60,000-pyeong wide park, making it the largest camellia garden in Asia that deserves the name of "Camelia Hill = Camellia Garden."

It is also famous for its superb view of hydrangeas from June to July, so please take a picture on the blooming hydrangea road♪

8. Jeju Island Moai Face-to-face ♪ "Jeju Stone Culture Park

 

Jeju Island is a so-called volcanic island originally created by a volcanic eruption, and it is known that stone culture has flourished long enough to be called the hometown of stones.

One of the symbols is the stone statue called "Dolharubang," which somehow reminds us of the Moai statue of Easter Island, which is very unique ♪

Jeju Stone Culture Park has a lot of such stone statue rooms, and there are three courses to look around the park, so you can enjoy it for each purpose.

9.Longhead rock

Yongduam is the closest tourist attraction to Jeju International Airport

It is named Yongduam because the shape of the lava hardened during the eruption looks like the head of a dragon, and it is 10m high, so it is quite powerful from up close.

Another point of interest is that you can taste fresh seafood on the spot as local haenyeo are directly grooming abalone and conch that have been freshly caught by native haenyeo.

 

10. 'Jungbang Falls' falling into the sea

 

Jeongbang Falls is one of the top 100 tourist attractions in Korea that you want to visit until you die.
It is the only waterfall in the East that falls into the sea, and it is a rare waterfall in the world.

The fall from the cliff is about 23m, and depending on the strength of the sea breeze, the spray can fly quite far, and on sunny days, rainbows can float around the waterfall ♡

You can appreciate it quite closely, so I hope you can feel the dynamics of the flow yourself.
